I was born in Baghdad, the capital city of Iraq. Throughout my childhood, I had the opportunity to travel frequently, which allowed me to explore different cultures and meet people from various backgrounds. With my family, I traveled to Dubai, Germany, Paris, Bahrain, Lebanon, and Syria. These experiences opened my eyes to new perspectives and shaped me into a curious, open-minded person who is always willing to learn and take on new challenges. I came to Canada in 2012, and I appreciate having classmates from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities.

I had the chance to travel with my classmates to New York City for an advertising conference called Ad Week. It was one of the best experiences of my life, as I learned a great deal from marketing experts. I got to ask them questions about their journeys in marketing and much more. I am pursuing a career in digital marketing because I enjoy storytelling, and I have always been results-driven.

I also enjoy playing basketball, as it allows me to express my competitive spirit and overcome challenges. Basketball teaches me to think strategically by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the opposing team. This enables my team and me to develop a strategy that can lead us to victory in tournaments. This concept is similar in marketing; a marketing team must identify competitors, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and create a strategy that can outperform theirs.

In addition to basketball, I have other hobbies such as reading books, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. Recently, I watched The Sinner with my friends, and I found it to be a great show. I would rate it a 7/10. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me!
