Responsibilities
During my co-op at Algonquin College as a Marketing and Communications Assistant, I was responsible for promoting the Career Networking Fair for Winter 2025. My first step was to create a buyer persona to understand why students were attending the fair and what they hoped to gain from it. My approach to promoting the event included interviewing employers and asking them three questions a student would be curious about. I utilized storytelling when creating a promotional reel by focusing on the pain points of Algonquin students and understanding their “why.”
